Carbo's Police Museum, open since 1976, is a unique private collection of authentic police items including badges, uniforms, billy clubs, handcuffs, collector weapons, drug exhibit, confiscated weapons and many other police articles from the United States and around the world.

Enter the world of "Walking Tall" Sheriff Buford Pusser. This is the world's largest authentic exhibit of memorabilia on Sheriff Pusser including the 1974 corvette in which he was killed. See and hear the real Buford Pusser on video. A full-length video is available for purchase.

The exhibits are police memorabilia collected by the founders, Dr. and Mrs. Bert Carbo, since 1954.

After many hours and much expense, the museum was built and opened June 30, 1976 and dedicated to all law enforcement officers.

Since 1993, ownership and operation of the museum has been turned over to Dr. & Mrs. Carbo's daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Carbo Rivera.

The cooperation of many departments and individuals is hereby acknowledged.
