You don’t have to be a car buff to enjoy the Smoky Mountain Car Museum in Pigeon Forge.
But if you’ve got a passion for all things automotive, this attraction is a must-see! A long-time attraction on the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the Smoky Mountain Car Museum showcases an impressive collection of more than 25 antique cars and other vehicles, some with famous connections.
Highlights of the museum include a James Bond “007” Aston Martin used in the movie Goldfinger, Elvis Presley’s Mercedes
CPE, an Evel Knievel jump bike and the Silver Dollar Car of Hank Williams, Jr.
Also of interest are a bullet proof Cadillac that once belonged to gangster Al Capone and a Cadillac owned by the
late Hee Haw star “Stringbean” Akeman. Other vehicles on display at the Smoky Mountain Car Museum
in Pigeon Forge include a 1930 Duesenberg, a 1937 Packard V-12 and a pair of
Corvettes from the’60s. There is even a historic gas pump globe exhibit!
