Like most parades, this one is filled with marching bands, entertainers, floats, baton twirlers, horses and other colorful entries. What makes this parade different? Its namesake and our grand marshal, Miss Dolly Parton!

As Miss Dolly sits atop her float leading the parade through town, more than 50,000 visitors will line the Parkway to experience this annual event.

Dolly’s Homecoming Parade begins near traffic light #6 and continues north on the Parkway to traffic light #3. The parade traditionally begins at 6 p.m., but come early, grab your lawn chairs and blankets and stake your claim for the best view.
