I-40 in North Carolina Reopens

Interstate 40 in Western North Carolina near the Tennessee state line, which was closed by a rockslide in October, reopened in late April. Both eastbound lanes are open. There is a three-mile stretch westbound that will carry one-lane traffic as work is completed.
