Patricia B. Campbell
of Dallas, Texas is an internationally recognized quilt artist, teacher, lecturer and author known for her unique 17th century Jacobean-era applique designs. Pat's use of none-traditional designs and bold colors have won her many ribbons and awards. Pat is continually creating new patterns for applique enthusiasts featuring wallhanging to bed size, hand and machine applique quilts, and has authored 7 books on hand applique. Sharon "Shari" Langley Geissberger has been quilting since 1987. She designs and markets her own line of patterns based on the three-dimensional technique that she has worked to perfect. Her patterns are now available in four countries. Her work has been published in "Ladies Circle Patchwork Quilts", "Quilt World", and "The American Quilter". Shari's work can be purchased at various locations in a Pigeon Forge area craft community.

Bonnie Goolsby has been on the education staff at Best Sewing & Vacuum, Inc. in Knoxville, Tennessee since 2000 and has taught numerous classes on different sewing techniques, including quilting, and also instructional classes on various sewing and embroidery machines. She has been a featured instructor at all conferences hosted by Best Sewing & Vacuum, Inc. for the last several years, and continuing to serve in this capacity in the future. Bonnie resides in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Klaudeen Hansen's experience reaches far beyond just quilting. She is an editor for Quilt Art and Address & Birthday Book, as well as the author of many articles for quilting magazines. Klaudeen is certified by the National Quilting Association as a quilting judge and she also trains judges. She has judged competition quilts from a long list of shows. Her quilts have been featured all over the United States and Europe. Klaudeen lives in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Harriet Hargrave was teaching machine piecing, appliquè and quilting through the adult education system by 1978, and opened her store, Harriet's Treadle Arts, along side her mother in 1980. She has authored several books. P & B Textiles has printed two very successful lines of reproduction fabrics for Harriet. In 1994 Harriet was chosen by a panel of her peers as one of the 88 Leaders of the Quilt World for a book that was released by the same title out of Japan. She has traveled extensively worldwide since 1985, including England, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and every state in the US. She has definitely spread the word that machine quilting is okay, and that our quilts are not machine quilted, but "hand quilted with an electric needle." Website: www.harriethargrave.com

Roberta Horton of Berkeley, CA, has been a quiltmaker since 1970. She has taught and lectured extensively throughout the United States and Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Europe. In 1995 she was selected as one of the eighty-eight most influential quiltmakers in the world by Nihon Vogue, publisher of Quilts Japan. She is the recipient of the 2000 Silver Star Award presented by the International Quilt Festival in Houston. This is in recognition of her lifetime body of work and the long-term affect it has had on quilting. Roberta has authored six books, the newest being Scrap Quilts: The Art Of Making Do.

Mary Mashuta's professional experience in the interior design field fostered an avid interest in quilt studios. Her informative magazine articles have appeared in Quilter's Newsletter, American Quilter, and Threads. She has also been featured in British, Japanese, French, New Zealand, and South African magazines. Mary creates a warm classroom environment which encourages confidence in quilters of varying skill levels. She knows students often want quick, less complicated projects so she always teaches from the simple to the complex.

Judy Mathieson became interested in quilt making in 1973 while completing her B.S. in Home Economics - Textiles and Clothing - at California State University, Northridge. She began teaching quilt making in 1977. The National Quilting Association has awarded her a certificate in Judging. She lectures and conducts workshops throughout the United States for quilt guilds and conferences. She has also taught internationally in Canada, Japan, Australia, England and Scotland. Phyllis D. Miller has been making quilts since the summer of 1968. Her quilts have been exhibited and won awards on the local, state, and national levels. Phyllis graduated from Berea College, Berea, Kentucky, in 1963 with a B. S. degree in business administration. She is an active supporter and member of the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society. She is past president of the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society, and was the editor of the KHQS newsletter. She is the founder of the Kentucky Heritage Applique Society, a KHQS auxiliary group. Phyllis started Quilter's Day Out in Kentucky, a celebration that was later declared National Quilting Day by the National Quilting Association and is now celebrated around the world. She is a past first vice-president and assistant treasurer of the National Quilting Association. She is the author of Encyclopedia of Designs for Quilting which was published by the American Quilter's Society in the fall of 1996. Her second book, Sets and Sashings for Quilters was released in August of 2000. She is also the co-author of Play With Triangles. She creates both traditional and contemporary quilts often combining both ideas in one quilt. She is married to Michael G. Miller. They have two sons, and raise flowers, animals, fruits, and vegetables on their15 acre farm in Murray, Kentucky.

Anita Shackelford is an internationally recognized teacher and lecturer whose work combines 19th century dimensional techniques and fine hand quilting with original designs, to create today's album quilts. She is the author of numerous books. She is also the designer of the RuchemarkT ruching guides and several other quilting design tools. Anita's quilts and articles have been published in numerous publications. Her quilts have garnered more than 12 Best Of Show awards and many more for her workmanship. Website: www.thimbleworks.com

Mary Stori is a lecturer, teacher, author, judge, and quilter whose work has appeared and won awards in numerous national shows. Her work is often humorous, and frequently features fun embellishments and fine hand quilting. She's appeared on HGTV's -Simply Quilts- and -Sew Perfect- several times. In the fall of 2003, an entire episode of Fon's & Porter's PBS show, -Love of Quilting-, featured Mary's beaded quilts. Mary has authored several books with her newest entitled Beading Basics: 30 Embellishing Techniques for Quilters. Mary has designed garments for the 1992, 1994, 1997, and 1998 Fairfield Fashion Shows. Polly Taylor is a retired elementary teacher, former owner of TENNESSEE QUILTS and the founder of QUILTFEST in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Presently she teaches classes in Johnson City, TN, Limestone, TN and Asheville, North Carolina. Quilting retreats are conducted at her log home on "Serenity Hill" down on the Nolichucky River between Jonesborough and Erwin. Her small home based and vending business, POLLY'S FEEDSACK PRINTS, grew out of an early love, interest, and research of feedsack prints.
