A night without kiddos, much less a weekend without kiddos, is a rare occurrence in our household. So needless to say, our recent trip to Pigeon Forge was treasured time!
We stayed at the Inn on the River with a balcony view of the Little Pigeon River. Meal time was so nice and relaxed… no cutting up food for anyone and no having to constantly remind two little divas to sit down and eat or to quit fighting!
We ate breakfast, not once but twice, at Log Cabin Pancake House. Pancakes Royale and Caribbean Pancakes do not disappoint hungry taste buds. Lunch at the Partridge and Pear Restaurant was such a treat and dinner at the Mellow Mushroom was groovy! A stop at Dixie Stampede concluded on of our days.
Shopping at Stages West for 2 ½ hours was so much fun. We both tried on western clothes, boots, and of course, every girl’s dream…jewelry. They had such up- to- date and trendy western clothing. Dad even got to do a little shopping at the Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson.
He loves his Harley Fatboy and he also loves to shop for hats. However, he is way pickier than most girls I know! The store had some beautiful bikes on display and I am so glad I got to walk around and enjoy looking at them without trying to keep Peanut from trying to jump on one! There was even a little time for browsing at the Incredible Christmas Place. Who doesn’t love a little or a lot of Christmas!
