Christmas in Pigeon Forge – Smoky Mountain Christmas

Pigeon Forge Winterfest

It is the most wonderful time of the year….bells are ringing, lights are glowing, and Santa is on his way. The holiday season is in full swing in Pigeon Forge. Christmas is less than a week away which means celebrating with family and friends and gift giving are right around the corner. If you will be visiting the Center of Fun in the Smokies for Christmas this year, make sure to put these fun events on your agenda.

The city is all aglow with the Annual Winterfest. Over 5 million Christmas lights adorn the area. The Driving Tour of Lights is the best way to see them all. Make sure to gather up the family, grab some hot chocolate, and head out to see all of these beautiful lights. You can pick up a map at the Pigeon Forge Mass Transit Trolley office so that you don’t miss any of it!!

The Incredible Christmas Place is full of Christmas year round but this time of year it is extra special. Whether you still need to do a little shopping or decorating or just want to take some fun pictures, the Christmas spirit is sure to be felt.

The local theaters are celebrating with their version of Christmas in their holiday shows. There is no better way to get you into the holiday spirit than to see these amazing singers and dancers bring the sounds of and the story of Christmas to life. These shows run several times a day so there is plenty of opportunities to see them with the whole family.

Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas is another great way to spend a day in the holiday fun. The park is beautifully decorated for the season and there is something to see and do for everyone. The kids can meet Rudolph and his friends as well as visit Santa’s Workshop.  There is also a nightly Parade of Lights that you will not want to miss.

Share memories of your day’s activities over a meal at one of Pigeon Forge’s many fine restaurants.

Pigeon Forge is the perfect spot to bring the Christmas spirit to life and celebrate with your family this year!
