Picture Perfect Spots in Pigeon Forge

Looking for the perfect spots to take pictures in Pigeon Forge? Look no further…here are my suggestions for the best photo ops in the Center of Fun in the Smokies.

The Island Fountains

Straight out of a movie scene! Time it right and get a picture right when the fountains are all spraying in the air. And did we mention they are synchronized to music?

Great Smoky Mountains National Park Sign

This is one for the scrapbook. If you’re headed into the national park, make sure to make a quick stop at the sign. I mean, you can’t come to the most visited national park in the U.S. and not get a picture, right?

The Iconic Old Mill

The Old Mill, constructed in 1830, is Pigeon Forge’s most photographed landmark. Don’t miss an opportunity for a photograph of this special piece of history that furnished electricity for Pigeon Forge until 1935!

Dollywood Express on the Parkway

Sitting right off the Parkway at traffic light #8, this ol’ locomotive has been a popular photo op for visitors since the early 1960s!

King Kong’s POV

The mighty gorilla can be found atop the Hollywood Wax Museum overlooking the Parkway. Take the elevator inside the Hollywood Wax Museum to get up close and personal with King Kong and enjoy a beautiful view of the Parkway. Speaking of, the Hollywood Wax Museum itself is full of fantastic photo ops with your favorite celebrities in wax form.
