Christmas All Year Long!
If you are as big of fan of Christmas as me, then you have to make a stop at The Incredible Christmas Place!! It is such a cute little village with lots of shops, food, and all the sights and sounds of Christmas.
There are ornaments, Christmas decorations, trees, and lights galore in the shops as well as many collectibles and even a Boutique that carries Vera Bradley bags, jewelry, and Crabtree & Evelyn products. Jellybean and Peanut were allowed to pick out one special ornament each to purchase. Peanut found hers right away…it was a cute little Abby Cadabby ornament. For those of you not schooled in the world of preschool tv, she is a special pink fairy from Sesame Street. Jellybean searched for quite a bit to find her special treasure and finally came up with a rock star ornament that had a guitar on it. She is taking guitar lessons and thinks she will be a rock star someday so it was quite fitting for her. We even bought a cute family ornament that had black bears on it to remind us of Pigeon Forge every time we look at. The best part was they personalized each ornament for free!!!!
The whole family enjoyed browsing around. We made our way around the stores and found a spot with a station to write letters to Santa. The little divas sat down, wrote their letters, and placed them in the mailbox in hopes that he would get their letters of requests before Christmas. Outside there was a cut out picture prop where we took a family picture and will probably use as our Christmas card picture this year.
Mrs. Claus has a Candy Kitchen amongst the village too. However, since we made our stop to The Incredible Christmas Place first thing in the morning, we didn’t tempt the little divas with any extra sugar for the day! If the smells are any indication on how the treats taste, they must be heavenly!
According to their website, they will be opening a restaurant in the summer of 2010. It will be called The Partridge & Pear at Christmas Place. I’m sure it will be a fine addition to this great stop.
