No visit to Pigeon Forge is complete without a stop at Dollywood. Year after year, Dollywood’s Christmas event receives many awards for best in America. Including shows, rides, food, and a great family atmosphere, Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas is the perfect place to spend the day.
The theme park is lit up with more lights than you can ever imagine. Night time is extra special with the Parade of Many Colors that starts at 8:15 pm each night. There are floats, life-size characters, and many fun surprises. The parade allows you to see just what Dolly and her family are all about!
You will not want to miss any of the holiday shows. Each one is amazing with first-class performers who ensure your holiday experience at Dollywood will be one to remember. It’s a Wonderful Life brings the classic story to life and shares the importance of love and generosity. Christmas in the Smokies will get you in the spirit as your holiday favorites fill the air and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas tells the story of how a white bearded stranger helps bring about a Christmas miracle. You will find the MistleTones performing as well as the Kingdom Heirs at various locations in the park. The Christmas spirit is all around!
Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Junction is located in the Craftsman’s Valley area. Rudolph and his several of his friends are roaming around and waiting to greet you. You can take part in some fun reindeer games and even decorate some Christmas cookies. There is also a fun photo souvenir opportunity.
SantaLand is in the Country Fair area and here the magic of the season comes to life. You will see the elves busy at work making toys that are larger than life. The kids can make some unique craft items and of course, take a photo and visit with Santa!
Glacier Ridge is a new addition to the event this year. It is the park’s largest expansion ever and showcases a 50-foot video motion Christmas tree and over one million twinkling lights. This winter wonderland experience will leave you in awe!
