City of Pigeon Forge Winterfest 5k & Kids Fun Run

The City of Pigeon Forge Special Events Department is launching a new race this holiday season: the Pigeon Forge Winterfest 5K & Kids Fun Run.

Winterfest 5K Highlights

The new community Winterfest 5K features a course designed for runners and walkers of every ability, running along the paved, mostly level, out-and-back route of the Winterfest Wonders of Lights Walking Trail, starting and finishing at Patriot Park. Every race participant will receive professional timing, finisher T-shirts, and finisher medals.

Kids Fun Run Highlights

The new Kids Fun Run is a family-friendly race for our youngest runners, covering two laps of the Little Pigeon Riverwalk at Patriot Park for runners ages 12 and under. If you’re also registered for the 5K, you’re welcome to run alongside your child in the Fun Run beforehand, with plenty of time to finish and be at the 5K start line by 7:30 am.

• Packet Pick-up: December 3–4, 3:00–7:00 pm at the Pigeon Forge Community Center

Registration Info

Registration for the Pigeon Forge Winterfest 5K is open. Runners who register by October 31, 2026 pay $30. After that date, and through race morning on December 5, the price is $35. Registration remains open until the 7:30 am race start. Register today!
