FORENSICS AT GROUND ZERO:
DISASTER RESPONSE AFTER SEPTEMBER 11TH
Sevier County native Arthur Bohanan will share his firsthand experiences as part of the forensic team that identified human remains at the World Trade Center after the September 11th attacks. He will share his personal feelings on those difficult days, and how the hazardous conditions at Ground Zero have since affected the lives of responders.

Arthur M. Bohanan is a sixth-generation Sevier County native andwas one of the first six responders from Tennessee to go to Ground Zero. A Certified Latent Print Examiner and Senior Forensic Examiner, Art and his team were tasked with recovering and identifying victims of the World Trade Center attacks. Throughout his career, he worked with the Knoxville Police Department while developing additional forensic techniques that researchers continue to use today.
