Upper Tremont Road

Another scenic drive through the Smoky Mountains can be found at Upper Tremont Road. Near Wears Valley, Upper Tremont Road provides the perfect setting for a scenic drive, especially during the peak of fall. During the drive, there are tree-shaded parking areas located around the loop allowing visitors to park for a picnic or access to the Middle Prong Trailhead. With several hiking trails, waterfalls, scenic views, and the middle prong that runs along the roadway, families and travelers alike can enjoy a one of a kind Smoky Mountain experience.
