Island Tree Lighting & Kickoff Concert: Saturday, November 21
The season at The Island opens with an evening of free events:
- 5 PM: Santa arrives for photos
- 7 PM: Free holiday concert
- 8 PM: Countdown and lighting of the 40-foot walk-through Christmas tree
Nightly Holiday Lights & Fountain Show
The Island Show Fountain and a set of 40-foot LED Christmas trees run a choreographed show in the Show Fountain Courtyard every evening at 6, 7, 8, and 9 PM.
Santa Visits & Photos
Santa greets visitors on select days near The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel. Dates and hours change through the season, so check Santa’s schedule before you go.
Near Santa, Santa’s Toy Shop stocks keepsake ornaments, soft holiday plush toys, cozy winter accessories, and more.
Winterfest at The Island is The Island’s own holiday program. It runs alongside Pigeon Forge’s citywide Winterfest celebration, which includes the Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail and the Winterfest Driving Tour of Lights.
