Western Style and Pizzazz!
During our recent mommy/daddy getaway, our first stop was at Stages West for a little shopping. The storefront is the perfect “stage” for a scene straight out of the Old West. The Old West style carries over into the architecture of the store itself but not into the merchandise they sell! The beautiful wood floors hold rack after rack of very modern, up-to-date, and trendy western wear. The rows of wooden shelves display a plethora of beautifully crafted boots for both the young and young at heart.
I was so excited about the thought of browsing and trying on clothes without being interrupted by two little divas. “Where to start,” was the question of the day!
We were surrounded by shirts, skirts, jeans, dresses, jackets, boots, belts, hats, and jewelry. This store has it all! Our problem was quickly resolved though as we were lucky enough to meet Marlene Houser, owner of the store. She was so gracious to take a few minutes and tell us about the store and about the new look/ branding the store is headed towards. They are showcasing our western heritage but with today’s fashion appeal.
It is evident by talking to her that customer service and satisfaction is at the forefront of her and her staff’s minds. During Saddle Up!, they even brought a guy in house to steam and fit cowboy hats as well as a rep for custom boots. The store will measure your foot and boots can be made just for you. Best part is that your information is kept on file in the store so if you call in and the lovely people at Stages West can take care of you!
Marlene introduced us to the beautiful and stylish Heather who personally assisted both dad and I for the rest of our shopping adventure. Heather was so patient with both of us and gave us her honest opinion as we tried on multiple outfits each. There was no stopping until she had the perfect fit on both of us. After lots of laughing and “modeling,” we were outfitted and accessorized!
Be prepared to lose track of time when you visit Stages West! Sophisticated western couture and more…you gotta see it all!
