Top 10 Activities for a Couple’s Getaway

Couple Vacationing in Pigeon Forge, TNThis mom and dad love alone time together just as much as we love our time together as a family with the little divas. While Pigeon Forge has lots of great activities for family vacations, it also has plenty to do on a couples retreat. Check out these fun ideas!

  1. Wonders of Flight
This hot air balloon ride sails 400 ft up in the air and offers a great view of the area from WonderWorks. Despite my fear of heights, I am excited to check this out with the hubby!
  2. Stroll Along Little Pigeon River
Sometimes it is nice to just avoid the busyness and crowds of places and stroll hand in hand down the quiet, peaceful river that flows through town…maybe even feed the ducks along the way!
  3. Ride Great Smoky Mountain Wheel
The Island opens on June 21st which means this great new attraction will be open and I’ll be putting aside my fear of heights again!
  4. Hiking and Picnicking
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park not only has free activities, it is a great place for quality time together. There are plenty of trails throughout the park. You can go at your own pace and stop along the path at a nice stream for a little picnic.
  5. Horseback Riding
Since the national park has so much to offer and one day is often not enough time to take it all in. So on a second day, it may be fun to see the sights from a different perspective.
  6. Couples Massage
It be wonderful for us to enjoy some relaxation together at the Spa at RiverStone Resort too!
  7. Date Night
Dinner for two at Alamo Steakhouse would make for the perfect date night! They offer an intimate environment as well as great food.
