Celebrate National STEM Day at Alcatraz East Crime Museum

Alcatraz East Crime Museum’s special STEM day will highlight the vital role that forensic science careers play and showcase the path to working in the field. The variety of jobs in the field includes positions such as crime scene investigator, forensic technician, medical examiner, forensic nurse, behavioral scientist, fingerprint technician, and many others. This event will take place on November 8, 2025, with the labs running from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and are included in the regular admission fee.
The museum will host a variety of labs throughout the day, focusing on chemical reactions and fingerprinting in forensics. They will be held in the lobby and are included in the general admission fee. The labs provide people with a chance to see firsthand the impact that STEM has and offer a glimpse of how it is applied.
