OPPORTUNITIES WE OFFER
Destination Planning Guide
This is a 2-year publication that lists the businesses that are “Group-Friendly,” what they offer and who to contact. These are categorized into “Where To Stay”, “What To Do”, “Where To Eat”, etc. It is the marketing piece that we send to Tour Operators, Family & Military Reunion Planners, and anyone who is considering bringing a Group to Pigeon Forge. It is the “map” that Planners will use to determine what they will do while in Pigeon Forge. Group-Friendly” businesses not included will not be visible to these Operators and Planners.
Give serious consideration to being a part of the Destination Planning Guide – it is a “map” you’ll want to be on!
Leads Agreement
Each year from July 1 through June 30, we send a Leads Agreement Form to you to fill out with current, updated, and correct information. The person at your business who is the main “Group” contact is generally the one who receives the Leads
Leads include any calls we receive or generate in the Sales office at the Department of Tourism and the Notes / Leads that we get when we attend Tour & Travel Shows like the American Bus Association (ABA), the Student Youth Travel Association (SYTA), and the National Tour Association (NTA). We want you to reach out to the interested parties and give them your information.
Familiarization Tours and Collaborations
We often have a Booth at Trade Shows and invite our local Pigeon Forge Partners to join us. It aligns you with the Destination and gives you additional exposure when you attend these Shows. Additionally, we host a “FAM” Tour each year to invite Tour Operators to come and experience all that Pigeon Forge has to offer Groups. We would love for you to be a part of those opportunities.
Our main objective is to bring attention to your business and all that you offer Groups. We shine the light on you and give you the opportunity to provide a great experience to those who visit us in Groups.
We work with you and for you. Together, we are a great destination for all Groups to consider.
