Pigeon Forge Midnight 8K Road Race

EVENT OVERVIEW

Pigeon Forge Midnight 8K is a tradition to close out the summer and we are excited to continue this year.

We will return to the Parkway this year for our Midnight 8K

Course closes after 1 hour, 20 minutes

Registration (NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS): Early Bird Registration: 5/26-6/4 $25 Regular registration: 6/4-7/31 $30; Late Registration 8/1-8/7: $35; KTC discount, volunteer coupons, and other discounts applied during early, online registration only.

Host Hotel: Due to unprecedented busy travel season, we do not have a host hotel this year.

Bib Pickup: Bib pickup will be Saturday, August 7th, 9:30pm-11:30pm Pigeon Forge Community Center, 170 Community Center Dr, Pigeon Forge.  We will have a hard cut off at 11:30pm for bib pickup as the location is NOT at race sight.

Post Race food: we will have a small table with food in the parking lot.  As we do not have a host for race staging, this will be grab-and-go only

T-shirts: Pre-registered runners will receive unisex t-shirts. Please note our shirt policy: Anyone registering after July 15 will receive shirts while supplies last. The shirt order will be placed on July 16 and when the inventory runs out in the RunSignUp system then there will be no more shirts. No re-orders.

 ****Due to a busy tourist season, there is no on-site race staging, therefore we will not be having an awards ceremony.  Awards will be available locally for pickup the week following the race.********** 

Awards to the top 3 Overall, top Masters (As defined by fastest person age 40 and above, not limited to 40-49) Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 50 and above, not limited to 50-59), Senior Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 60 and above, not limited to 60-69) male and female. Awards to the top 3 in each age group as well as Overall Clydesdale (men over 200 lbs.) and Overall Athena (Women over 150 lbs.) Age Divisions will be in 5 year increments (three deep). Overall winners not eligible for age division awards.

Grand Prix Points: 2021 Grand Prix Presented by Threds points awarded at this race. Remember, to participate in the Grand Prix Presented by Threds, runners must be a KTC Member and MUST volunteer at least 3 times at KTC Grand Prix events to qualify.
