Summer has officially arrived, and Pigeon Forge has great outdoor activities planned for this month. From Fourth of July festivities to live music and more, you’ll find plenty of fun events and things to do in Pigeon Forge in July and throughout your summer visit!
Amazing Fireworks at the Annual Patriot Festival
The annual Patriot Festival begins at 2pm on July 4th at Patriot Park. The event is free and open to all ages. Get ready for games, food, live music, and of course, fireworks. Live music will hit the stage starting at 4pm, and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives will be the headliner this year beginning at 8:30pm. Bring your lawn chairs and claim your spot, then sit back and enjoy the day!
Live Performances at Hard Rock Café
Hard Rock Café has a great list of shows during the month of July.
July 4th: Go for lunch and catch the 1st Rockin’ Doggie Parade at noon. The pups are sure to steal the show!
July 5th: The Jeep Jam will perform, as well as the Josh Gilbert Band with their country/pop/Southern rock music.
July 6th: The Kincaid band will be in the house with their rock and classic rock music.
July 12th and 13th: Relax and enjoy the country sounds of Thomas Claxton.
July 19th: Jacob and Rhianne will entertain.
July 20th: Cutthroat Shamrock is set to showcase their rock/folk/Appalachia punk talent.
July 26th: Listen to Hope Griffin and her folk/Americana music.
July 27th: The month will conclude with Brother Rains and their country music.
Music Under the Stars at the Jars and Jams Concert Series
The Jars and Jams concert series continues this month on the Ole Smoky Distillery stage at the Island. On July 11th, the Cleverlys will be in town and they will host Kaitlyn Baker on July 25th. It doesn’t get much better than summer nights at the Island with live music, the picturesque show fountains and a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel!
New Rides and Nightly Fireworks at Dollywood’s Summer Celebration
Dollywood’s Summer Celebration continues with extended park hours and nightly firework shows. Wildwood Grove is now open and definitely a popular area in the park with rides, the Wildwood Creek, and the 40-foot-tall Wildwood Tree that is adorned with butterflies that dance in the breeze and light up at night.
