Winter in Pigeon Forge

All of the hustle and bustles of the holiday season is over. It is time to relax and regroup for the new year ahead. With the sereneness of the Smoky Mountains as a backdrop, a winter visit to Pigeon Forge would be the perfect fix!

Snow on the Smokies

Start off with a stay in one of the many area cabins or chalets. You can cozy up next to the fireplace, read a book, or even just ponder over your family goals for the year. Afterward, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the warmth. The atmosphere and views from the area cabins are second to none.

Next up, enjoy some of the events going on in Pigeon Forge in January and February like Winterfest or the special dinner aboard the Titanic for Valentine’s Day. Winterfest runs through the end of February. You can still take a driving tour of the over 5 million lights throughout the city. It is a wonderful way to reflect on the holiday season with your kids and have a discussion on all there is to be thankful for. Your Valentine is sure to enjoy the special dinner being planned aboard the Titanic on February 11th. This first class dinner does require reservations. What a perfect gesture to show that special someone in your life just how much you love them!

WonderWorks

If you don’t like the outdoor temps of winter, don’t worry! There are plenty of great attractions and activities in Pigeon Forge that are indoors. Do some shopping, let the kids play at Wonderworks, the “The Amusement Park for the Mind” or TopJump Indoor Trampoline Park, or catch an evening dinner show…..all indoors. It is also an excellent time to do some driving through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There are so many sites and sounds and so much beauty to take in regardless of the time of year. Nature’s beauty will warm you up!

It’s a great “Winter” in Pigeon Forge. Make it one to remember in 2017!
