Soar high above the Smoky Mountains on the Wild Eagle roller coaster or ride on the wings of a dragonfly as it twists and turns on an unpredictable path in Wildwood Grove, one of the newest additions to the park. Then cool down with fun rides and a 70-foot tall waterslide at Dollywood’s Splash Country.
The much-anticipated reopening of Dollywood Parks and Resorts is set to begin in June. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa reopens June 10th. Dollywood Theme Park and Dollywood’s Splash Country Water Park will open June 15th and 16th to season pass holders only. And then both parks will open to the general public on June 17th. Go on an action-packed adventure in the great outdoors. Ride through the mountain terrain and cross streams to get to spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and plenty of chances for photo opportunities with Bluff Mountain Adventures. Or go on an exciting whitewater rafting adventure with Smoky Mountain Outdoors. Raft down class III and IV rapids on the upper Pigeon River or relax and enjoy a scenic family float down the lower Pigeon River.

Watch a real-life lumberjack competition and then partake in one of your own at Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show & Adventure Park. See the feuding Dawson and McGraw families compete in 13 different lumberjack events such as axe throwing, sawing and log rolling. Then compete with the rest of the family in events such as a ropes course or log roll, then take a ride on the zipline roller coaster.

There’s nothing more exhilarating than the smell of fresh mountain air than opening your eyes to see some of the most incredible mountain views, the green treetops that go on for miles, sprinkled with the colors of summer wildflowers. Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers more than 800 miles of hiking trails and more than 1,500 kinds of flowering plants. Get a glimpse of the past on a scenic drive along Cades Cove Loop Road or take the short walk to Clingman’s Dome for some of the most spectacular views of the season.
